Nevada High School Basketball - Shadow Ridge overwhelms Cheyenne
December 14, 2024: North Las Vegas, NV 89032 The Shadow Ridge Mustangs basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Cheyenne Desert Shields to 37 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Durango for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Shadow Ridge will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 41-31 non-league win over Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Trailblazers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Cheyenne falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Desert shields host Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Eagles in a game on Monday, January 6. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-1. Somerset Sky Pointe lost 41-18 in their recent non-league game against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV)
