Nebraska High School Basketball - Aquinas nips Archbishop Bergan

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Aquinas Monarchs basketball team scored a close 43-39 win over the Archbishop Bergan Knights.

The Monarchs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE). The Cavaliers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Bishop Neumann was tipped by St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE), 41-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Archbishop Bergan will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
