Oklahoma High School Basketball - Atoka holds off Spiro
December 14, 2024: Atoka, OK 74525 The Atoka Wampus Cats basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Spiro Bulldogs to 42 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wampus Cats now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Latta for a Freelance game on Thursday, December 19. Atoka will confront a Panthers team coming off a 52-42 non-league win over Quinton (Quinton, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Spiro falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Heavener (Heavener, OK) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 1-3. Heavener won 47-33 in their recent non-league game against Haskell (Haskell, OK)
