The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA), observed Mt. Lebanon's basketball team edge Bethel Park by a score of 50-45.

The Blue Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record.

In their next game, the Black Hawks battle the Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 challenge, on Monday, December 16. Bethel Park will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Colonials come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to Uniontown (Uniontown, PA).
