December 14, 2024: Forestville, MD 20747 The IMG Academy Ascenders basketball squad (Bradenton, FL), was crushed 47-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD)
With the victory, Bishop McNamara advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA) to meet the Lightning in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 18. The Lightning enter the battle with a record of 7-3. Sage Hill lost 60-49 in their recent non-league battle against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
The Ascenders now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palm Bay for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. IMG Academy will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-4.
