Illinois High School Basketball - Willows Academy routs Christ the King
December 14, 2024: Chicago, IL 60644 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Willows Academy Eagles basketball team scored a big 70-18 win over the Christ the King Gladiators.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Harvest Christian Academy smashed Westminster Christian (Elgin, IL), 64-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers (Deerfield, IL) in a Chicago Prep contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Christ the King will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 10-2 record after their 40-27 non-league win over Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL).
