Nevada High School Basketball - Sparks overwhelmed by Churchill County

December 14, 2024: Sparks, NV 89431

In Saturday's non-league test, the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) basketball squad trounced the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), by a score of 55-12.

Next, the Greenwave encounter the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 17. Churchill County will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 33-22 non-league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV).

The Railroaders (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Portola (Portola, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Portola was routed by Quincy (Quincy, CA), 29-23, in a non-league test.
