Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Collierville Dragons (Collierville, TN), 55-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Valley Springs advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Tigers host Flippin (Flippin, AR) to face the Bobcats in a 3A Region 2 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 10-5. Flippin won 41-34 in their recent league match against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR)

The Dragons now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cordova for a 4A District 15 match on Tuesday, December 17.
