The Great Mills Hornets basketball squad (Great Mills, MD), was crushed 57-26 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA)

With the victory, Colonial Forge advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to meet the Panthers in a Commonwealth battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 2-3. Massaponax won 53-19 in their recent league battle against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)

The Hornets now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunbar for a non-league battle on Monday, December 16. Great Mills will meet a Poets squad coming off a 47-33 non-league win over Loch Raven (Towson, MD). The Poets record now stands at 2-1.
