The Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) basketball edged the host Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS), 51-44 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Roughriders now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Alma for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. Southwest will play a Cardinals team coming off a 35-30 non-league win over Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Decatur Community falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Red devils host Hill City (Hill City, KS) to play the Ringnecks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Ringnecks go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Hill City lost 54-21 in their recent league bout against Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS)
