The Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs basketball squad (Washington, DC), was nudged 41-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA)

With the victory, Deep Creek advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Southeastern battle on Wednesday, December 18. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 2-1. Nansemond River won 75-19 in their recent league battle against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA)

The Cubs now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal for a Independent School battle on Tuesday, December 17. Georgetown Visitation Prep will meet a Lions squad coming off a 65-30 non-league loss to Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.
