Illinois High School Basketball - Normal Community sneaks past Edwardsville
December 14, 2024: Edwardsville, IL 62025 The Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Edwardsville Tigers to 36 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Ironmen now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Normal Community will play a Panthers team coming off a 69-60 non-league win over Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Edwardsville falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to play the Flyers in a Southwestern game on Tuesday, January 7. The Flyers go into the game with a record of 2-6.
