California High School Basketball - El Segundo triumphant over University
December 14, 2024: El Segundo, CA 90245 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) and the visiting University Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), observed El Segundo's basketball team overwhelm University by a score of 66-31.
The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Torrance (Torrance, CA). The Tartars come into the Pioneer challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Torrance was routed by Pacifica Christian/Orange County (Newport Beach, CA), 45-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a Western challenge, on Monday, January 6. University will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
