December 14, 2024: Dry Ridge, KY 41035 West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), 51-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Jessamine advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Colts travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-4. Paul Laurence Dunbar lost 52-39 in their recent league match against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY)
The Braves now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumner for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Grant County will meet a Stingrays squad coming off a 70-27 non-league win over Brandon (Brandon, FL). The Stingrays record now stands at 8-2.
