December 14, 2024: Yorktown, VA 23693 Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA), 45-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tabb upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers host Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to face the Clippers in a Bay Rivers match on Tuesday, December 17. The Clippers enter the match with a record of 3-0. Grafton won 57-33 in their recent league match against Bruton (Williamsburg, VA)
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warwick for a Peninsula match on Tuesday, December 17. Heritage will face a Raiders squad coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC). The Raiders record now stands at 6-1.
