The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Prince of Peace Eagles (Carrollton, TX) and the host Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX), observed Prince of Peace's basketball team edge Italy by a margin of 46-41.

The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, McKinney Christian Academy was tipped by Covenant (Dallas, TX), 40-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) in a 2A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Italy will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 45-34 non-league win over Milford (Milford, TX).
