Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE), 54-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Johnson County Central advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Palmyra (Palmyra, NE) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-2. Palmyra lost 59-20 in their recent non-league match against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE)

The Indians now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lourdes Central Catholic for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17.
