The Lamar Thunder basketball squad (Lamar, CO), was nudged 32-25 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO)

With the victory, Sterling advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Platte Valley (Kersey, CO) to meet the Broncos in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Broncos enter the battle with a record of 3-1. Platte Valley lost 51-45 in their recent non-league battle against Northridge (Greeley, CO)

The Thunder now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salida for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks battle on Friday, December 20. Lamar will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 53-50 non-league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 3-1.
