California High School Basketball - Pittsburg nips Las Lomas

December 14, 2024: Pittsburg, CA 94565

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Pittsburg Pirates basketball team scored a close 51-50 triumph over the Las Lomas Knights.

The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Northgate nipped Vacaville (Vacaville, CA), 52-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a Diablo battle, on Friday, December 20. Las Lomas will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to American (Fremont, CA).
