December 14, 2024: Montevideo, MN 56265 In Saturday's league contest, the host Montevideo Thunderhawks basketball team scored a big 68-46 triumph over the Luverne Cardinals.
The Thunderhawks (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN). The Lakers go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeview smashed Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN), 58-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Luverne will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 61-54 league win over Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN).
