In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans basketball team scored a close 54-50 triumph over the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmot (Wilmot, WI). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Hurricanes confront the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17.
