December 14, 2024: Los Banos, CA 93635 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) and the host Pacheco Panthers (Los Banos, CA), observed El Capitan's basketball team overwhelm Pacheco by a margin of 68-37.
The Gauchos (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA). The Bullfrogs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Bret Harte trounced Argonaut (Jackson, CA), 55-51, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, January 6. Pacheco will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
