Kansas High School Basketball - Greeley County can't hold off Las Animas

Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Greeley County Jackrabbits (Tribune, KS), 43-41 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Las Animas upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Ellicott (Calhan, CO) to face the Thunderhawks in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Thunderhawks enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Jackrabbits now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Valley for a non-league match on Saturday, February 22.
