Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch bests Tallwood
December 14, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23321 The Western Branch Bruins basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Tallwood Lions to 44 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bruins now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Glen Allen for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Western Branch will play a Jaguars team coming off a 43-32 non-league win over North Stafford (Stafford, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Tallwood falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. The Knights go into the game with a record of 4-0. Kellam won 81-63 in their recent non-league game against Cox (Virginia Beach, VA)
