December 14, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70115 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Newman moves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Greenies host Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, December 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-4. Fontainebleau won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Live Oak (Watson, LA)
The Patriots now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tara for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 18. North Vermilion will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-0.
