Utah High School Basketball - Gunnison Valley crushes Merit Preparatory Academy
December 15, 2021: Gunnison, UT 84634 Gunnison Valley Bulldogs (Gunnison, UT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), 61-15 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gunnison Valley upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Altamont (Altamont, UT) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Altamont won 71-55 in their recent non-league bout against Duchesne (Duchesne, UT)
Next up, the Knights play the Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Marauders (Lehi, UT) in a 2A Region 18 bout, on Friday, December 17. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Marauders come into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 62-29 non-league loss to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV).
