Illinois High School Basketball - St. Laurence topped by Richards
December 15, 2021: Oak Lawn, IL 60453 The Richards Bulldogs basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting St. Laurence Vikings to 58 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league match on Friday, December 17. Richards will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, St. Laurence moves to 3-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Marmion (Aurora, IL) to meet the Cadets in a Chicago Catholic - White match on Friday, December 17. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 4-5. Marmion won 48-46 in their recent league match against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL)
