The Artesia Pioneers basketball team (Lakewood, CA), was overwhelmed 76-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA)

The Pirates now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castle View for a non-league battle on Friday, December 17. Paramount will confront a Sabercats team coming off a 54-47 non-league loss to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 1-4.

The Pioneers (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Lakewood, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 6-7 record.
