Connecticut High School Basketball - New Canaan crushes Bassick
December 15, 2021: Bridgeport, CT 06605 New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), 44-5 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Canaan upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams host Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to clash with the Bears in a Fairfield County bout on Wednesday, December 22. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 16. Bassick will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 54-13 non-league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT).
