Indiana High School Basketball - Mississinewa can't hold off Yorktown
December 15, 2021: Yorktown, IN 47396 The Yorktown Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Mississinewa Indians to 58 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Palestine for a Hoosier Heritage contest on Saturday, December 18. Yorktown will battle a Dragons team coming off a 55-35 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 7-5.
The Indians (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN). The Argylls come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Madison-Grant edged Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN), 65-21, in a non-league contest.
