December 15, 2021: Agency Village, SD 57262 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) and the host Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD), saw Pine Ridge's basketball squad wallop Tiospa Zina by a tally of 71-41.
With the victory, Pine Ridge improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Thorpes travel to Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD) to play the Sioux in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 16. The Sioux come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Lower Brule lost 46-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Custer (Custer, SD)
Next up, the Wambdi play the Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 16. Tiospa Zina will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 65-35 non-league loss to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD).
