Arkansas High School Basketball - Highland topples Alton
December 15, 2022: Hardy, AR 72542 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Alton Comets (Alton, MO), by a count of 43-35.
The Rebels (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Chickasaws go into the 4A Region 3 outing with a 11-0 record. In their last outing, Blytheville defeated Westside (Jonesboro, AR), 71-47, in a league outing.
The Comets now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Viola for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 17. Alton will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 58-39 non-league loss to Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-13.
