In Thursday's league outing, the Wheatley Wildcats (Houston, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), by a count of 91-57.

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Scarborough (Houston, TX). The Spartans go into the 4A Region III District 21 outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, Scarborough was crushed by Austin (Houston, TX), 80-60, in a non-league outing.
