Arkansas High School Basketball - Brinkley overwhelmed by Lee
December 15, 2022: Marianna, AR 72360 The Lee Trojans basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Brinkley Tigers to 37 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hazen for a 2A Region 6 contest on Friday, December 16. Lee will battle a Hornets team coming off a 72-61 league loss to Carlisle (Carlisle, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Augusta (Augusta, AR). The Red Devils come into the 1A Region 5 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Augusta was routed by Bradford (Bradford, AR), 76-57, in a league contest.
