Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Combine Academy Goats (Lincolnton, NC) and the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), saw Combine Academy's basketball squad wallop Carolina International by a tally of 85-63.

With the victory, Combine Academy improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Goats travel to Ridge View (Columbia, SC) to play the Blazers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Ridge View lost 70-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Huntington St. Joseph Prep (Huntington, WV)

Next up, the Comets play the Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Carolina International will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 82-47 league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC).
