New Jersey High School Basketball - Colonia tops Hunterdon Central
December 15, 2022: Colonia, NJ 07067 Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ), 58-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Colonia upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-1. J.P. Stevens lost 77-40 in their recent non-league bout against St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Hunterdon Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 66-62 league win over Montgomery (Skillman, NJ).
