Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Deerfield Beach Bucks (Deerfield Beach, FL) and the visiting Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL), saw Deerfield Beach's basketball squad hold off Taravella by a tally of 62-61.

With the victory, Deerfield Beach improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Canarsie (Brooklyn, NY) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
