Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) and the visiting Healdsburg Greyhounds (Healdsburg, CA), saw Piner's basketball squad knock off Healdsburg by a count of 69-49.

With the victory, Piner upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Prospectors travel to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Rancho Cotate won 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Novato (Novato, CA)
