Ohio High School Basketball - Holy Name holds off Lutheran West
December 15, 2022: Rocky River, OH 44116 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) and the host Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH), saw Holy Name's basketball squad hold off Lutheran West by a tally of 62-55.
With the victory, Holy Name improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Lakewood (Lakewood, OH) to confront the Rangers in a Great Lakes challenge on Friday, December 16. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Lakewood lost 81-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Strongsville (Strongsville, OH)
Next up, the Longhorns confront the Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Lutheran West will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 59-56 non-league loss to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH).
