Iowa High School Basketball - Janesville nudges North Butler
December 15, 2022: Janesville, IA 50647 Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), 40-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Janesville upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA) to clash with the Dons in a Iowa Star bout on Friday, December 16. The Dons go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Don Bosco won 78-55 in their recent league bout against Riceville (Riceville, IA)
Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) in a Corn Bowl bout, on Monday, December 19. North Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 66-61 league win over St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA).
