Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Terrebonne upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host South Lafourche (Galliano, LA) to play the Tarpons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Tarpons come into the bout with a record of 2-4. South Lafourche won 45-31 in their recent non-league bout against Bourgeois (Gray, LA)
