Florida High School Basketball - Upperman fells Matanzas

December 15, 2022: Palm Coast, FL 32137

Upperman Bees (Baxter, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL), 62-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Upperman upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bees travel to Umatilla (Umatilla, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Umatilla won 75-45 in their recent non-league bout against East Ridge (Clermont, FL)

Next up, the Pirates play the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas (New Smyrna Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Matanzas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Barracudas go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 66-51 non-league win over Crescent City (Crescent City, FL).
