Rockland Bulldogs (Rockland, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Silver Lake Regional Lakers (Kingston, MA), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rockland upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cohasset (Cohasset, MA) to play the Skippers in a South Shore bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Skippers come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Cohasset lost 60-49 in their recent league bout against Carver (Carver, MA)

Next up, the Lakers play the Duxbury Dragons (Duxbury, MA) in a Patriot - Keenan bout, on Friday, December 16. Silver Lake Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
