Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Salem Rocks (Canton, MI) and the host Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), saw Salem's basketball squad hold off Walled Lake Central by a tally of 55-49.

With the victory, Salem improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rocks travel to Glenn (Westland, MI) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Glenn lost 86-43 in their recent non-league challenge against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI)
