Missouri High School Basketball - Twin Rivers nips Van Buren
December 15, 2022: Broseley, MO 63932 Twin Rivers Royals (Broseley, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Van Buren Bulldogs (Van Buren, MO), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Twin Rivers upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Senath-Hornersville lost 75-43 in their recent league bout against Caruthersville (Caruthersville, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Southern Reynolds Whippets (Ellington, MO) in a Big Springs bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Van Buren will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Whippets go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 68-54 non-league loss to Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO).
