December 15, 2022: Cascade, IA 52033 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) and the visiting Springville Orioles (Springville, IA), saw Cascade's basketball squad wallop Springville by a tally of 64-40.
With the victory, Cascade improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Camanche (Camanche, IA) to confront the Indians in a Freelance challenge on Friday, December 16. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Camanche won 41-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)
Next up, the Orioles confront the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West challenge, on Friday, December 16. Springville will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 65-25 league loss to Alburnett (Alburnett, IA).
