In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Parker Thundering Herd basketball team scored a tight 40-37 triumph over the Central Red Devils.

In their next game, the Thundering Herd meet the Midfield Patriots (Midfield, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 19. Parker will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 6-6 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, AL).
