Louisiana High School Basketball - Monterey fells Forest
December 15, 2022: Forest, LA 71242 Monterey Wolves (Monterey, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Forest Bulldogs (Forest, LA), 41-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monterey upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Wolves travel to Grant (Dry Prong, LA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Grant lost 70-27 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Central Panthers (Jonesville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 30-23 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA).
