The North Butler Bearcats basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Janesville Wildcats to 33 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nashua-Plainfield for a Corn Bowl contest on Monday, December 19.

The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Dons enter the Iowa Star contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Don Bosco was defeated by Riceville (Riceville, IA), 60-16, in a league contest.
