December 15, 2022: Junction City, KS 66441 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays (Junction City, KS) and the visiting West Chargers (Topeka, KS), saw Junction City/St. Xavier's basketball squad hold off West by a tally of 41-36.
With the victory, Junction City/St. Xavier improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Northwest (Wichita, KS) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Northwest lost 66-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast (Wichita, KS)
Next up, the Chargers play the Turner Golden Bears (Kansas City, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. West will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
